Mrs. Scranton was a secretary for a trucking company, and her church and served as a paraprofessional in the school system. 

She is survived by her husband: Alvin R. Scranton, LaVista, Ne; daughters: Alicia Scranton, and Angela Scranton, LaVista, Ne; grandchild: Alexa "Cupcake"; sisters: Paula McDonald, Phoenix, AZ, Daisy (Henry) McAllister, Ogden, Ut, Eloise (David) Snell, Boise, Id; brothers: William G. Golding, Jr., Kansas City, Mo, Lawrence (Esther) Golding, Phoenix, Az, Johnny (Sally) Golding, Roy, Ut; nieces, nephews, other relatives.
