Beverly was born in July of 1934, the only child of Wave and Stanley Madison.
She was an alumnus of Central High School and was the first African American graduate of Duchesne College in Omaha, Nebraska, where she majored in Education.
After graduation, she embarked upon an illustrious and rewarding career in education. She taught a Long Elementary School, Omaha, Nebraska, as well as schools in Detroit, Michigan, and Landover Maryland, where she held the position of librarian.
After retirement she continued to devote her life to the instructional and emotional development of children through her involvement with the Foster Grandparents Program of Omaha, Nebraska.
She possessed an abiding faith in God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and departed this earthly existence on December 29, 2021.
She leaves to mourn her passing, cousins: Steve Mallory (Nancy), Sean Mallory, Shawntal Mallory, Michael Mallory, Patrick Mallory, Sean Mallory, Jr. and other relatives and friends.
