                                        HER STORY

 

Crystal Lynn Curtis was born on April 25th, 1984, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Claudette Bell-Armstrong and Tyrone L. Curtis.

 She left New Orleans in the 1990’s as a child for Omaha, Nebraska, where later she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined the Salem Baptist Church family.

She attended Omaha Public Schools and later attended college and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services. She was also a certified CNA.  Later received a certificate in Pharmacy Technician.

Crystal was a successful owner of two small businesses, Righteous Royal Bundles and Lashes, and Cerenity’s Heart.

On November 23rd, 2021, Ms. Crystal Lynn Curtis received a special medal, she received her wings at Immanuel Hospital. (JOB WELL DONE)

Preceding her in death, daughter, Cerenity L. Curtis, father, Tyrone L. Curtis, paternal grandparents Doris W. Curtis and William Curtis Sr., maternal grandparents, Wilton Breaux Jr., and Lee Ethel Wilson-Bell, uncle, Willie Wilson, aunts, Elnora Wilson, and Yvette Bell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Rodney C. Lillard Jr. and Rahiem C. Lillard, (pet) Princess, mother, Claudette Bell-Armstrong step-father Darrell Armstrong, sister, Bonnie (Sparkle) Bell, step-sister Denisha Armstrong, brothers, Darrell Armstrong, Tyrone L. Curtis Jr., Josh Polk, niece, Kellie Malloy all of New Orleans LA, nephews, Stefhon M. Jones, Marquis, Shamar, and Marcell Dortch all of Omaha NE; aunts, Diane Wilson and Linda Douse of New Orleans LA, Valerie Curtis of Cypress, TX , Nicole Vaughn of Atlanta, GA, MSgt/Ret Florence Rhoden of Omaha NE, Joann Armstrong of Las Vegas NV; uncles, Norbert and Jessica Henry Jr., William Curtis Jr., Bruce Curtis and Corey Curtis, of New Orleans LA, Junius and Shelly Wilson of San Pablo CA, Billy and Leslie Wilson, Roy and Delores Wilson all of New Orleans LA, Claude Bell of Omaha NE, and a host of cousins, relatives, friends and customers.
