Cyntheia Valette Ross was called home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 9, 2026. Cyntheia Valette Ross was born on November 11, 1962, to Marion Charles Ross and Flossie Ross. She was the eldest of five children. From the moment she entered this world, she carried a spirit marked by determination, strength, and grace. She spent most of her childhood in Omaha, Nebraska, where she built lifelong connections and cherished memories. She also spent meaningful time in Hope, Arkansas, creating special memories that remained close to her heart. She attended Burke High School, where her formative years helped shape the loving woman she became. Cyntheia later dedicated her life to building a legacy rooted in love and family. Her greatest pride and joy were her children: Syreeta, Antwon Lamar, Jeffrey Scott, Joshua Scott, Lonnie Malik, and Allen Cymon, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. Throughout her life, Cynthia held numerous professional roles with respected companies in the Omaha area, demonstrating her strong work ethic and dedication. An entrepreneur at heart, she also established and successfully operated several cleaning businesses in both Omaha, Nebraska, and Little Rock, Arkansas. Cynthia had a natural eye for beauty and creativity. She could spot a beautiful dress, top, or shoe from a mile away. She especially loved spending time with her plants and found comfort and happiness in caring for them, often alongside her beloved dogs. To know Cyntheia was to know her love for dancing, laughter, and bringing people together. Her happiest moments were spent making memories with loved ones and enjoying good music. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Marion Charles Ross, and her grandson, Jayden Scott Kunzman. Cyntheia is survived by her mother, Flossie Ross; her children, Syreeta, Antwon Lamar, Jeffrey Scott (Jamie), Joshua Scott, Lonnie Malik, and Allen Cymon; her grandchildren, Aniya Butler Johnson, Joshua Kunzman, Jeffrey Jordan Kunzman, Justin De'Mario Steven Burkhalter, Tyquan Butler, A'Laiah Lamari Townsell, Julius Scott Kunzman, Josiah De'Angelo Scott Kunzman, Sabrina Marie Burkhalter, Jayla Belle Kunzman, A'Kela LeeAnn Marie Townsell, Raelenah Catherine Kunzman, Jaece Edward James Bory, and Zyon Malik Griffin; her siblings, Sondra Ross, Delton Ross (Buffy), Dwayne Ross (Tonja), and Chonne Ross (Shanda); her great-grandchildren, Italy, Taiwo, and Kehinde Johnson; along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cherished friends. Cynthia's love, strength, and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, resilience, and the beautiful memories she created with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. 19, 2026.
