Jackie was born May 12, 1935 in Omaha, NE., the first child born to Charles Abram, Sr. and Julia Abram. She departed this life on April 13, 2022, at 2;29 pm peacefully at her home with her daughter. Jackie attended Howard Kennedy Elementary School and Technical High School in Omaha, NE. Jackie, as we all knew her, loved to cook and entertain people in her home. She was a nurturer and loved to feel needed. She loved family and people. She had a heart as big as the outdoors. No one was a stranger. Along with her Grandmother Zoey Gilkey and Mother Julia Abram, she attended Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. R. L Blake. She confessed to Christ at an early age and God led her daughter Evangelist Sharon Nance in the reaffirmation of her faith in October of 2002. Jackie was a lifelong resident of Omaha, NE. She was employed at Richman Gordman Distribution Center and retired in 1997 after 35 years of employment. She did a lot of personal care for families. She was united in holy matrimony on February 24, 1954 to Harry B. Harrison, Sr. To that Union two children were born, Sharon Kay. Harrison - Nance and Harry B. Harrison Jr. She later married James O. Faulker and cared for him until his death in 1996. Faithful companions also included Vernon Harris and Arthur Downs, both of whom preceded her in death. Jackie is also preceded in death by her earthly Mother and earthly Father, Charles and Julia Abram, Sister Barbara Davison, Brothers, George, Jimmy and Charles Abram Jr. Special Cousins Clarice Dacus and Regina Reed. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her Daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Edgar) Nance; son, and Son Harry B. Harrison Jr.; Brothers, Brothers Joseph (Joyce) Abram, Georgetown, South Carolina; Terry (Charlotte) Abram, Omaha, NE.; Special friend Rose Marie Cloud; Grandchildren; Darvell (Summer) Harrison; David (Kellie) Harrison; 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
