Jaqueline enjoyed many years as a child at church and remained a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church until her passing. Jackie, as she was called, was educated in Omaha, Nebraska. Jackie attended Long Elementary, the first black school in Omaha NE. She graduated from Technical High School in 1964 and continued her education at Omaha University, currently the University of Nebraska at Omaha. However, she did not complete her degree due to the marriage of her high school classmate, James Hart on April 18, 1965. James and Jackie gave birth to their son James E. Hart, Jr. on November 27, 1965. Jackie always had a career in Banking. She was a Senior Loan officer for 20 years at Bell Federal Credit Union (currently Centris Credit Union).
